Cashplannr runs on direct cashflow: we start from actual transactions and outstanding invoices, and lay your budget on top as a target line. A budget disconnected from your real cash is fiction. Next to your actual cashflow you always see what still has to happen to hit your target. Most other tools do indirect cashflow, a working-capital adjustment on the accounting result. Direct is more accurate short-term (what we forecast today shows up on your account tomorrow) and ties directly into your real bank balance. Indirect lacks the granularity to spot a liquidity dip 6 weeks out.
